出発４日前にしてようやく来ました片道キップ。
VISAの写真よこせだとか最後のページに住所書いてコピーして送付しろだとか色々うるさいこと言われて手続きして、ぎりぎりの旅券ゲットです。
本日は、仕事の合間を縫って前任者の方に色々と心得を聞いて参りました。
簡単にまとめると、
・アパート空いて無くても、キャピタル周辺は辞めたほうがいい。子供連れはあまりいないし、車もバンバン通る。とにかく西側だが、高速道路の外側は絶対にダメ。
・着いたらメモリアルユニオンにいって、DS-2019を見せて無料バス券とＩＤをゲットしろ。
・銀行口座はUW unionで作るべきだが、Social Security Numberがあったほうがいい。でもまあ、パスポートと住所があれば何とかなるかも。
・Sheboygen Avenue近くの運転免許センターらしきところにいって、運転免許証までの繋ぎのIDをもらえ。
・昼間の平日なら大学のビルは入れる。入れないところはセキュリティカードを作ってもらうこと。自分のオフィスもしかり。
・シカゴの乗り継ぎは左に並べ。右はアメリカ人か永住者だ。VISAあっても、旅行者と同じイミグレーションだ。
とまあ、とにかくアメリカ生活滑り出しのイメージをつかむことが出来ました。後はやるだけです。
それにしても、自分のオフィスもセキュリティカードが必要とは、、、会社並ですね。
片道キップと共に、T/Cの進化版。キャッシュパスポートを手配してもらいました。
それにしても、手数料10%とは会社も痛いところですが一度に1000㌦しかおろせない上に口座としては使えないので、正直今回はT/Cの方が良かったです。

/To make account in UW union is good. I have to bring SSN and passport. Maybe possible to get without SSN.
/To visit DDM next to sheboygen Avenue. I can get ID alternative exact driver's permit.
/You can enter to the premise during day time on working day. You need to obtain an access to join consortium.
I grasp how to start the beginning of my American life. Just do it.
The security policy of UW is as same as company.I was astonished that.
In addition, I was supplied cash passport instead of T/C.
The committees is 10%. I can't accept such a high rate but this is not my money. It's reasonable.
